Making desserts isn't just following recipes. It's about understanding what you're celebrating and why it matters.

Conversation First

We spend time talking before we even turn on the oven. What's the occasion? Who's it for? What flavors bring back good memories? These details shape everything.

Ingredient Choices

We source from local suppliers when possible and never compromise on butter quality. You can taste the difference between good chocolate and great chocolate, so we always choose great.

Testing Everything

New flavor combinations get tested multiple times. We've learned that lavender can overwhelm a lemon cake if you're not careful, and that sometimes simple vanilla buttercream is exactly what's needed.

From Idea to Finished Cake

Initial Chat

We sit down together, either in person or over a call. You tell us about your event, show us inspiration photos, and we ask questions that help us understand your vision. This usually takes about 30 minutes.

Design Sketch

Based on our conversation, we create a rough sketch and flavor proposal. Nothing fancy, just a clear outline of what we're thinking. You review it and tell us what needs adjusting.

Baking Day

We bake everything fresh within 24 hours of your event. Layers get assembled, fillings are prepared, and decorations come together. It's a focused process that takes several hours depending on complexity.

Delivery Setup

We deliver and set up the cake ourselves for events in Perth. You get clear instructions on storage and serving. Then we step back and let your celebration unfold.
